Ashley Roberts: From Pussycat Doll to TV Presenter
Ashley Roberts is an American television presenter, singer and dancer who rose to fame as a member of the pop group The Pussycat Dolls. She has since pursued a solo career in music and television, hosting shows such as Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, WWE Legends’ House, The Real Dirty Dancing UK and Dance Monsters. She is also a radio presenter of Heart 00s.
Roberts was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and started dancing at the age of three and singing at eight. She is the daughter of Pat Roberts, the former drummer of the Mamas & the Papas, and Peggy Lorraine, a Pilates instructor. She moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to study modern dance and appeared in various television commercials and music videos.
In 2003, she joined The Pussycat Dolls, along with Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Carmit Bachar, Kimberly Wyatt and Jessica Sutta. Roberts has also focused her career as a presenter, particularly in the UK. She has presented shows such as Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (2013â2016), WWE Legends’ House (2014), the Emmy Awardsânominee 1st Look (2016â2018), The Real Dirty Dancing UK (2022) and Dance Monsters (since 2022). She is also a radio presenter of Heart 00s.
Roberts is active on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram, where she shares her personal and professional life with her fans. She is also known for her fashion sense and her advocacy for animal rights and veganism.
