He coldly states that she has brought shame to the Kuchiki clan and that she must accept her fate. Rukia is hurt by Byakuya’s words, but she does not beg for mercy. She tells him that she is ready to die and that she has no regrets.

Bleach Episode 31 ends with a cliffhanger, leaving the viewers wondering what will happen to Rukia and how Ichigo will save her.
