The episode features a cameo appearance by Foxy, a former rival of Luffy who also wants the gem.

They realize that Lina’s father was trying to use the heat from the volcano to create the gem. They also wonder what the gem looks like and what it can do.

Some days later, Lina and Sayo send a letter to the Straw Hats, thanking them for their help. They also send them a small box containing the gem they made. The gem is a beautiful blue crystal that can produce water when exposed to sunlight. The Straw Hats are amazed by the gem and congratulate Lina and Sayo for their success. However, as they celebrate, a candy rain falls from the sky and covers the Sunny. Luffy accidentally drops the gem into the sea and loses it forever.
