The long-awaited fourth season of Yowamushi Pedal, the popular cycling anime series, has finally arrived. The first episode of Yowamushi Pedal: Limit Break picks up where the third season left off, with the Inter-High race entering its final day. The episode focuses on the fierce battle between Hakone Academy and Sohoku High School, as well as the personal struggles of some of the main characters.

The episode starts with a flashback to the previous day, when Hakone Academy’s ace sprinter, Shinkai Hayato, was defeated by Sohoku’s Naruko Shoukichi in a thrilling sprint finish. Shinkai is shown to be haunted by his loss and doubts his abilities as a cyclist. He is comforted by his teammates, especially Izumida Touichirou, who tells him that he still has a chance to redeem himself on the final day.

Meanwhile, Sohoku’s captain, Kinjou Shingo, is also feeling the pressure of leading his team to victory. He is worried about his injured leg and whether he can keep up with Hakone’s strong climbers. He is encouraged by his vice-captain, Tadokoro Jin, who reminds him of their bond and their determination to win.

The episode then shifts to the present, where the race is about to resume after a short break. The two teams are neck and neck, with only six riders left on each side. The first obstacle they face is a steep uphill climb, where Hakone’s climbers, Arakita Yasutomo and Toudou Jinpachi, take the lead. Sohoku’s climbers, Makishima Yusuke and Teshima Junta, try to catch up with them, while Kinjou and Tadokoro struggle to follow.

The episode ends with a cliffhanger, as Arakita and Toudou reach the summit of the hill and prepare to launch their attack on the downhill section. Will Sohoku be able to catch up with them? The second episode of Yowamushi Pedal: Limit Break continues the intense showdown between Hakone and Sohoku on the final day of the Inter-High race. The episode focuses on the downhill section of the course, where Hakone’s Arakita and Toudou try to widen their gap from Sohoku’s Makishima and Teshima. However, they are surprised by the appearance of a third team, Kyoto Fushimi High School, led by the ruthless Midousuji Akira.

Midousuji is a controversial cyclist who uses unconventional and dirty tactics to win. He is also a former rival of Toudou, who defeated him in the previous Inter-High. Midousuji is determined to get his revenge on Toudou and ruin his chances of winning. He also targets Arakita, who he considers to be a weak link in Hakone’s team.

Midousuji uses his signature move, the “snake dance”, to slither past Arakita and Toudou on the downhill section. He then taunts them with his creepy smile and insults. He also reveals that he has a new teammate, Komari Kishigami, who is a master of aerodynamics and can ride at high speeds without losing balance. Komari follows Midousuji’s lead and joins him in harassing Arakita and Toudou.

Meanwhile, Sohoku’s Makishima and Teshima are also trying to catch up with the leading group. Makishima is confident in his downhill skills and trusts his unique riding style. Teshima is impressed by Makishima’s performance and decides to follow him closely. However, they are also aware of the threat posed by Midousuji and Komari, who are closing in on them.

The episode ends with another cliffhanger, as Midousuji and Komari reach the end of the downhill section and prepare to enter the flat section of the course. They announce their intention to break away from Hakone and Sohoku and claim the victory for themselves. Will Arakita and Toudou be able to catch up with them?
